Testosterone Reload ingredients

With a blend of natural herbs and minerals, Testosterone reload aims to boost free testosterone naturally.

Testosterone Reload Ingredients

Magnesium: 200 mg – Magnesium is a naturally occurring mineral that supports muscle contractions, protein synthesis, energy production, nerve function, regulates blood pressure, bone development and antioxidant production.2

Zinc deficiencies have been linked to impotency in men.3

Zinc: 30 mg – Found in cells throughout the body, zinc contributes to protein synthesis, immune functions, wound healing, DNA synthesis and proper development.3 Testosterone Reload contains nearly 200% of the recommended amount.

Tribulus Terrestris: 750 mg – Historically used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to help treat infertility and sexual dysfunction, tribulus terrestris contains steroidal saponins that are structurally similar to dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which helps produce testosterone in the body. In a pilot study, 750 mg taken for 3 months could significantly increase free and total testosterone levels and improve erectile dysfunction in aging men with partial androgen deficiency.

Chrysin: 75 mg – Commonly found in honey, chrysin is a flavonoid that has been theorized to boost testosterone. While successful in animal studies, preliminary human research reported limited change in urinary testosterone levels or increase within the body, which may be due to its poor bioavailability when ingested orally.6

Horny Goat Weed: 50 mg –  Originating from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), horny goat weed is an herb claimed to increase testosterone, sexual function, and libido.7,13 Icariin, the active compound in horny goat weed may promote nitric oxide production and have pro-erectile properties.

Longjack: 50 mg – Longjack, also known as tongkat ali, is an herb traditionally used to enhance natural male health and fertility.8 To date, animal studies have noted that longjack displays anti-estrogen properties and preliminary human studies have noted that the herb may have a positive effect on severe cases of erectile dysfunction.8

Saw Palmetto Berries: 50 mg – Saw palmetto is a popular alternative treatment for an enlarged prostate, which helps control prostate size in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Used since the early 1900s, saw palmetto is also claimed to naturally enhance testosterone, libido and alleviate urinary tract conditions.9

Hawthorn Berries: 50 mg –  Used as a medicinal tool for thousands of years, the hawthorn plant has traditionally been used for heart health. Hawthorn contains antioxidant flavonoids that can help protect the body from free radicals, support healthy blood vessels, improve blood flow and lower blood pressure. 10

Cissus Quadrangularis: 50 mg – A traditional herb used in Ayurveda, cissus quadrangularis is claimed to assist weight control, reduce hemorrhoids and increase the rate of bone healing. With a number of properties such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anabolic and anti-osteoporotic, athletes have taken interest in this herb for its potential ability to aid recovery and promote joint health.11

Testosterone Reload Side Effects

For some users, it’s possible that the ingredients used in the Testosterone Reload formula may cause adverse reactions. Based upon current scientific research, BHO has compiled a list of possible side effects that users may experience if they consume this supplement.

According to a single case study, horny goat weed may be able to cause a rash across the body. This side effect is considered rare, and occurred when taken in combination with gingko biloba.12

Per serving, Testosterone reload contains 34 mg of zinc, close to the upper tolerable limit (40 mg) for adults. at this dose, it’s possible that users could experience diarrhea, stomach cramping, headaches, nausea, or vomiting.3 Supplementing with magnesium has been known to cause diarrhea, as magnesium salts commonly used in laxative productsIn some individuals, hawthorn may cause blood pressure to lower. In rare cases, it may also cause increased heart rate or palpitations.

Does Testosterone Reload Work?

After careful evaluation of the ingredients used, a review of current scientific studies, and consumer reviews, below are the projected results for Testosterone Reload.

Most of the health claims made by Testosterone Reload are largely based off animal studies, theoretical actions or based off traditional medicine systems such as Ayurveda or TCM. In the body, both zinc and magnesium support a diverse range of biological functions, and users that are previously deficient may experience benefits such as a modest increase in energy and enhanced immune system. Both minerals are important for protein synthesis and a deficiency in either could limit an athletes’ ability to increase muscle mass.

In a 2007 study, 450 mg of tribulus terrestris was given to Australian rugby players once a day for five weeks. Results indicated that when compared to a placebo, there was no difference in lean muscle mass, body fat or change in urinary testosterone/epitestosterone levels.5 Current scientific literature has also proposed that cissus quadrangularis may display anabolic activity, but to date, no studies have been conducted to investigate this theory.
