OxyELITE Pro Super Thermogenic says it can curb cravings, boost energy, and sharpen mental focus. In this OxyELITE Pro review, we discuss the controversy surrounding a product that is no longer made but still available through certain retailers. The OxyELITE Pro original formula combines caffeine with a proprietary blend of natural herbal extracts traditionally used for weight loss.

OxyELITE Pro Original Formula

The OxyELITE Pro old formula is no longer sold in stores, but can still be found online if you know where to look. In this section, we give a run-down of the OxyELITE Pro ingredients which combined caffeine with a unique, proprietary blend. Because the original OxyELITE Pro used a proprietary blend, the exact dose of the following herbal extracts is unknown.

Bauhinia Purpurea L. (Leaf and Pod) Extract – Also known as the butterfly tree, bauhinia purpurea extract may increase thyroid function, which supports the metabolism and helps the body break down sugars and “bad” cholesterol. It has been shown to achieve this effect by increasing levels of T4 and T3, hormones that keep the thyroid running properly.1

OxyELITE Pro is no longer available on the USP Labs official website. However, many reviews still note users go to extreme lengths to find old OxyELITE Pro formula.

Bacopa (Leaf) (Bacopa Monnieri) Extract – Found in old OxyELITE Pro, this plant extract has a similar effect on the body as Bauhinia Purpurea. It may increase the levels of both the T4 and T3 hormones to improve thyroid function.1

1, 3-Dimethylamylamine HCL – Found only in the OxyELITE Pro original formula, 1, 3-Dimethylamylamine HCL (DMAA) is a stimulant used to increase energy, focus, and productivity.2

Cirsium Oligophyllum (Plant) Extract -This extract found in OxyELITE Pro fat burner is thought to decrease fat accumulation. In clinical trials, it’s been shown to promote lipolysis, the natural breakdown of fats in the body.3

Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe) Bark Extract – Yohimbe extract is often taken to aid in weight loss.4 It is thought to block alpha-2 fat receptors in the body, which in turn may make the body accumulate fewer fat cells.9

Caffeine: 100 mg – Commonly found in coffee, tea, and energy drinks, caffeine kick-starts the metabolism. This makes users feel alert, focused, and full of energy.5 Caffeine may also aid in weight loss by increasing the metabolic rate, which burns fat and calories faster.10

OxyELITE Pro Side Effects

OxyELITE Pro original formula side effects vary from person to person, as with any supplement or drug. Caffeine may cause increased feelings of nervousness, jitteriness, upset stomach or increased urination. The yohimbe extract found in USP Labs OxyELITE Pro original formula may cause increased anxiety, stomach discomfort or high blood pressure in some individuals.4

DMAA is a high-powered stimulant that may cause increased blood pressure.2 In rare cases, the OxyELITE Pro with DMAA formula was said to be associated with side effects such as heart complications. After an isolated report of OxyELITE Pro liver damage, the product was voluntarily recalled at the suggestion of the FDA.6

OxyELITE Pro Results

Does OxyELITE Pro work? Two studies were done using OxyElite Pro on both male and female subjects, In the first study, results showed that OxyElite Pro may increase fat burn and metabolic rate.8 In the second double-blind study, users combined OxyELITE Pro with an exercise routine for an eight-week period. Researchers noted that participants who took OxyELITE Pro had an overall decreased body weight and body fat percentage, when compared to the control group.11

Scientific research has noted that small differences in thyroid function have been associated with up to 5 kg difference in body weight.12

Additionally, a 14-day study conducted on healthy male subjects showed that yohimbe extract may block fat receptors in the body, leading to less fat accumulation.10

Both caffeine and DMMA have been commonly shown to increase energy levels, productivity, and mental focus.2,5 In one animal study, subjects received either plain water or water that contained Cirsium Oligophyllum extract. At the end of the cycle, subjects who received the extract experienced reduced body fat.3 Animal studies examining the impact of Bauhinia Purpurea and Bacopa Monnieri extracts have also noted positive effects on thyroid function. Both substances caused a noticeable increase in the T3 and T4 thyroid hormones, which may improve thyroid function and support a healthy weight.1

Was USP Labs OxyELITE Pro Banned?

What happened to the original OxyELITE Pro? USP Labs stopped selling the original formula of OxyELITE Pro thermogenic in 2013. This came after adverse reports from the Hawaii Department of Health were submitted to the FDA.6 The recall was voluntary on the part of USP Labs and the company maintained that their products were safe.7 While adverse events have been reported, no OxyELITE deaths have been confirmed.

A new OxyElite Pro formala (without DMAA) was then released onto the market. The next year, USP Labs also offered settlements to customers who claimed they were wronged as part of a class-action OxyELITE Pro lawsuit.

OxyELITE Pro Reviews

Despite the previous controversy, it’s easy to find a number of positive OxyELITE reviews. Online OxyELITE Pro super thermogenic reviews rate the product highly for fat loss, appetite suppression, energy, and focus. Users praise the product’s affordable price and fast pound-shedding effects. People also love how much energy it gives them to work out and do their everyday activities. Additionally, there are several impressive OxyELITE Pro before and after photos online that show significant weight loss in both male and female users.

OxyELITE Pro For Sale
