Creatine Monohydrate : 3000 mg –  Creatine is a well-researched ingredient proven to increase muscle mass, power output when combined with a resistance training program. Niacin: 16 mg – Niacin or niacinamide, are both forms of vitamin B3 that metabolize carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Emerging research shows niacinamide may improve joint flexibility and ease joint pain in people with osteoarthritis.10

Cayenne: 15 mg – When taken orally, cayenne has been claimed to boost the metabolism and possibly suppress hunger. One study has noted that consumption can slightly increase core body temperature which may burn more calories.22

 Calcium: 10 mg – As one of the most abundant minerals in the human body, calcium is important for the development and maintenance of strong bones, proper muscle contractions and nerve function. The mineral is also used to release hormones and contributes to enzyme reactions that affect almost every part of the body.12

Vitamin C: 6 mg – Commonly found in dietary supplements, vitamin C is an essential vitamin required for the synthesis of protein, collagen, neurotransmitters and L-carnitine – a substance which helps convert fat into energy.13,14

Vitamin B6: 2 mg – A generic name for six different compounds, vitamin B6 is predominantly involved in protein metabolism, nerve function, hemoglobin production and regulating blood sugar levels. In the body, hemoglobin is responsible for transporting oxygen from red blood cells to the tissues.15,16

Thiamine was given the name Vitamin B1 because it was the first vitamin to be discovered.17

Thiamin: 2 mg – Thiamin is a naturally occurring vitamin that helps convert carbohydrates into glucose (fuel), strengthen the immune system and enhance the body’s defenses against stress.17 This ‘anti-stress’ vitamin is used for digestive problems, to increase energy and combat memory loss.17

Folic Acid: 100 mcg – Vitamin B9, or folic acid, plays an important role in proper brain function, including emotional and mental health. In the body, vitamin B9 works with iron to produce red blood cells. It also works with vitamins B6 and B12 to regulate homocysteine, an amino acid that in high levels has been linked to heart disease.18

Vitamin D: 10 mcg (400 IU) – Vitamin D is critical for maintaining strong bones and regulating cells in the immune system. Ongoing research is investigating the connection between low levels of vitamin D and various diseases such as cancer, obesity and high blood pressure.19

Vitamin B12: 10 mcg – In the body, vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formulation and DNA synthesis. A deficiency in vitamin B12 may lead to anemia and make individuals feel tired, weak and affect sports performance.20

DSN Supplement Directions

For optimal results, the Dyna Storm Pre Workout label instructs users to take three tablets 45-90 minutes before exercise with water. It’s recommended to take DSN Pre Workout for at least 4 weeks for optimal results.

Dyna Storm Nutrition Side Effects

While the ingredients used in DSN supplements have been scientifically observed and generally regarded as safe, minor Dyna Storm Nutrition side effects may still occur.

DSN Pre Workout contains three grams of creatine which may cause stomach cramping, nausea, or diarrhea. In some users, water retention can occur in the beginning of supplementation, which may lead to minor weight gain.4 Per serving, DSN Pre Workout also includes 100 mg of caffeine. Individuals that are sensitive to caffeine may experience jitteriness, nervousness, increased heart rate, increased urination, or difficulty sleeping if taken shortly before going to sleep.

DSN Pre Workout also includes niacinamide, which is associated with common a flushing sensation. This ‘niacin flush’ is a temporary side effect that might cause a mild tingling, itching or burning sensation in the arms, face or chest. This effect is extremely common and goes away after 1-2 hours or when the body gets used to supplementation. Users with impaired kidney function or stomach ulcers should consult with a health care practitioner prior to taking these products.
