Compared to other trial supplements, Alphatren doesn’t display any athlete endorsements, independent certifications, or have an official company website.
Alpha Tren Ingredients
Alpha Tren combines four ingredients to deliver all natural, performance-enhancing results. Below, we explain how the proprietary formula may help to boost energy, promote lean muscle mass and improve endurance.
Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate – A conditionally essential amino acid, arginine is a popular dietary supplement as it helps promote nitric oxide (N.O.).2 For athletes, arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG) is taken to help reduce fatigue and improve peak performance. These claims are based off the compound’s ability to clear ammonia from the body and improve blood flow.2
Taurine – A naturally occurring amino sulfonic acid, taurine has natural antioxidant properties and plays an important role in preventing oxidative-stress, athletic performance, and cognitive functions.4 High concentrations of taurine are found in the testicles and may help prevent oxidant-induced decreases of testosterone.5 In clinical trials, doses of 1000 mg have been observed to improve running time by 1.7% in a 3 km timed run, while doses of 1600 mg taurine have noted to enhance fat oxidization.11,12
Beta Alanine – An altered form of the amino acid alanine, beta alanine may promote lean muscle mass and enhanced muscular endurance. In the body, beta alanine acts as a precursor to carnosine, a well-known molecule that helps buffer lactic acid in muscles, and can help increase performance in short bouts of exercise.6
Caffeine (180 mg) – One of the most widely consumed stimulants, caffeine has well-researched ergogenic (performance-enhancing) benefits for athletes. Consuming caffeine can increase energy, enhance muscular endurance, delay fatigue, temporary suppress the appetite and rev the metabolism.7

Alpha Tren Side Effects
Based upon current scientific research, customer testimonials and doses of ingredients, we have compiled a list of possible side effects.
In doses of 800 mg or more, beta alanine may cause a temporary and harmless tingling sensation known as paresthesia. This side effect is commonly felt on the face, chest, legs, and arms and dissipates after 1-2 hours. As the amount of beta alanine used in Alpha Tren is a part of a proprietary blend, the dose is unknown. With 180 mg of caffeine per serving, users who are sensitive to caffeine may experience nervousness, jitteriness, sleeplessness, upset stomach, or headaches. As caffeine acts as a diuretic in the body, users may notice an increase in urination. In rare instances, caffeine can cause a rapid heart rate.7
Is Alpha Tren Safe?
The active ingredients used in Alpha Tren have been independently researched for their effects on the human body. While they are generally regarded as safe, without the exact dose or research for this particular proprietary blend, BHO cannot determine 100% of the side effects, efficacy or safety.
Users should note that Alpha Tren contains 180 mg of caffeine per serving – equivalent to 1-2 cups of brewed coffee.10 If users were to take the recommended two servings per day, it would total 360 mg of caffeine. This puts users very close to the recommended daily limit of 400 mg of caffeine.10 BHO recommends limiting the consumption of all other sources of caffeine while taking Alpha Tren.
Does Alpha Tren Work?
Alpha Tren combines four natural ingredients that have been individually researched for their ability to improve sports performance. Based upon existing scientific research, known doses, and customer testimonials, below are a list of projected Alpha Tren results.
In the body, caffeine stimulates the central nervous system and can result in increased mental focus, energy, mental alertness, and enhanced muscular endurance. Caffeine also reduces the perceived feelings of fatigue and can promote an increased metabolism. This should leave users feeling dialed into their workout and may help you last longer in the gym. For users who regularly consume caffeine, these results may be less pronounced.7
In doses of 1600 mg, taurine may improve fat oxidation.11 Without knowing the exact dose, it is hard to determine how effective Alpha Tren is towards these claims. Beta alanine may also work to enhance endurance, by delaying the effects of lactic acid buildup in the muscles.6 Depending on the dose, this could help reduce recovery times if muscles don’t feel as sore post-workout.
